Product Description
Painted on cotton canvas using traditional Tibetan methods, this Thangka features a palette of white, gold, red, blue, green, and orange colors, imbued with calm and sacred beauty. At the center is Avalokitesvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, in his thousand-armed form, standing gracefully upon a large lotus throne symbolizing purity. His multiple arms and multiple faces represent his infinite capacity to help beings. His multiple hands carry symbolic objects like a lotus flower symbolizing purity, a Vajra symbolizing spiritual power, a mala symbolizing meditation, a nectar vase for blessings, and weapons to cut through ignorance. The radiant glow of the scene and the intricate robes are brought to life with the subtle yet brilliant application of 24K gold, shimmering gracefully and enhancing the divine presence.
The background is filled with clouds, lotuses, and mountains, connecting heaven and earth in his compassionate embrace. At the very top of the painting, three Buddhas, Ratnasambhava, Akshobhya, and Amitabha are depicted representing different aspects of awakened wisdom, composure, and compassion. At the bottom left, Manjushree is depicted representing the sword that cuts through ignorance, and Vajrapani represents power and the force of enlightenment.
More than decoration, this Thangka is a sacred doorway to mindfulness and enlightenment. It blesses the home with its presence and practice, conveying timeless teachings through its imagery. Handcrafted in Nepal, it turns your living space into a sanctuary of peace, wisdom, and transcendence.

Natural Colors in Thangka
All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.
