Face: Gold Painted
The face of this Buddhist Statues of Shakyamuni Buddha has been painted with gold. Reason for painting the face is to define important attributes of the Shakyamuni Buddha's face, especially its eyes and Its lips. This normally cannot be obtained by metal carving. Even if we could it will be blurred out by oxidation with time. This is an important and sacred ritual of Buddhism to make the statue ready for its consecration and practice.
For painting the face of a statue we use a special gold variation, which is treated in a way which will transform the metal gold into a paintable powder gold. This is said to be 100% pure gold.

Finishing: Partly Gold Plated
This is partly fire Gold Gilded Buddhist Statues of Shakyamuni Buddha. Partly gold plating using the Fire Gold plating technique is a common practice in Nepali handicrafts. Nepali artisans often use this technique to create intricate designs on various metal objects, such as statues, jewelry, and decorative items. The process of partly gold plating using the Fire Gold plating technique involves carefully applying a mask or resist to the areas of the object that are not meant to be plated with gold. The object is then heated to a high temperature, which allows the gold to adhere to the exposed areas using a combination of heat and pressure.

Lost-Wax System
This Buddhist Statues of Shakyamuni Buddha is made by the process of the Lost-Wax system. This is a very complicated, time-consuming, and historic process of making metal sculptures. Which is why it is sometimes called Precision Casting as well. Hence the sculptures made through this process are comparatively expensive. There are many new, advanced, and less time-consuming methods of casting metal sculptures available as well. But due to the benefits provided by the traditional lost wax system in quality control and customization, we prefer the Loss wax system over Ceramic molding, or sand casting to make our Buddhist Statues.
Below we have tried to illustrate the process of making a loss wax system statue:

Shakyamuni Buddha: Brief Introduction
The ancient Sanskrit word 'Buddha' means 'having become awoken ' in the sense of having attained 'supreme awareness'. It is closely related to the term 'Bodhi' which refers to awareness. The serene & sublime image of Gautama embodies a condition of compassionate understanding, of an awoken illuminated Amind. This is a stark contrast to many Western ideas of outward pride, muscular vigor & displays of material wealth. Gautama Shakyamuni was born c.563 BCE in Lumbini which is today in Nepal. He concentrated on the cardinal Rule of Desire & its relationship to hate. This Principle pre-existed his lifetime & is a theme common to Hinduism, Jainism & similar faiths. Desire is taken in the sense of greed, selfishness, possessiveness which combine to obscure higher awareness & understanding, especially in context with the world around us. He was certain that the suffering of sick people, hungry people, old people & poor desperate people was caused by & had arisen through a misunderstanding & that misplaced-desire & had generated this suffering.
