Questo thangka della Fiamma della Liberazione di Vajrayogini, realizzato su pregiata tela di cotone e incorniciato in un luminoso broccato di seta, trasuda intensità e grazia, incarnando la fiera energia femminile della dea tantrica della saggezza e della trasformazione.
La sua figura rosso fuoco danza all'interno di un alone fiammeggiante, simbolo della distruzione dell'ego, brandendo un coltello ricurvo e una coppa a forma di teschio, simboli di trascendenza. Adornata con ornamenti ossei e una ghirlanda di teschi, si erge in cima a due figure, domando l'illusione e l'attaccamento.
Radicati nell'iconografia buddista tibetana, i suoi colori audaci e la posa dinamica trasmettono un'energia indomita, esaltata dall'opulenta cornice in broccato di seta.
