Dipinto su tela di cotone con metodi tradizionali tibetani, questo Thangka presenta colori nero intenso e oro brillante, creando un'atmosfera rilassante e sacra. Al centro si trova Jambhala Giallo, la divinità della fortuna e della ricchezza, seduto nella posizione del loto in una postura rilassata. La sua gamba destra è distesa, mentre la sinistra è piegata e tirata verso l'interno. La sua mano destra regge una mangusta (Neul) che sputa gioielli preziosi, a simboleggiare la costante effusione di ricchezza e prosperità. La sua mano sinistra regge un frutto di Jambhara, simbolo di appagamento e abbondanza. Il suo aspetto calmo e potente denota generosità e autorità.
Intorno a lui sono raffigurati diversi gesti delle mani tipici del Buddha della Medicina: in alto a sinistra, possiamo vedere il palmo della mano destra rivolto verso l'interno, a sottolineare la guarigione interiore e la meditazione. In alto a sinistra, entrambe le mani poggiano sul grembo, reggendo una ciotola con nettare curativo, simbolo di immortalità. In alto a destra, il palmo della mano destra è rivolto verso l'esterno, a sottolineare la benedizione e la compassione.
