This thangka features Manjushree, the Bodhisattva of Transcendent Wisdom, in a beautiful exercise of sacred art. He is surrounded by two attendant figures in the form of the compassionate Avalokiteshvara and the wrathful protector Vajrapani. They constitute a trinity representing wisdom, compassion, and power.
