Product Description
This exquisite Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka portrays the Awakened One in his enlightenment moment, exuding serenity and wisdom. Seated in vajra posture on a jeweled lotus throne, his hands in Dhyana mudra hold an alms bowl with three nectars.
His blue hair and ushnisha glow with golden halos, while snow lions below symbolize fearless Dharma teachings. Rich symbolism includes a Dharma wheel, a celestial canopy, and blooming peonies with tranquil waters, reflecting wisdom and compassion.
Flanked by disciples Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, it embodies the Three Jewels. Ideal for meditation, this luminous thangka, with its radiant aureole and offerings, serves as a spiritual anchor and artistic treasure.
The colors in this thangka are derived from natural mineral pigments, finely ground and mixed with animal glue to create a vibrant medium.

CONSECRATION OF PRODUCT
For requests for consecrations/blessings, we can take the thangka to monasteries or Rinpoches from the nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.

Natural Colors in Thangka
All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.
