Product Description

This statue of Tshepamey was handcrafted by skilled craftsmen working with Lunzi Art. The statue is cast in a fine copper using the traditional lost wax method, then carefully hand-carved with intricate patterns, polished to a dazzling shine, and then finished with a meticulous mercury gold plating (also known as fire gilding), a traditional process.

The statue's serene face, especially the gentle eyes, conveying peace, and tranquillity. The statue's sits in perfect equanimity with his hands in Dhyana Mudra, the gesture of meditation. Both of his palms lie face up in his lap where they hold the ambrosia treasure vase that is his special emblem. His right hand, resting on top, symbolizes the state of enlightenment, while his left hand, resting below, represents the world of appearance. The exquisite adornments on his ears and the finely carved necklaces show extraordinary craftsmanship. The statue wears a series of dazzling accessories, each inlaid with what appear to be imitation gems, especially the beautifully carved five-point crown.

The statue is seated on a lotus flower in a meditative posture. His monastic robe and silken scarves are draped over his shoulders and arms, showcasing a majestic and divine look befitting a Buddha of Infinite Life.

This statue is not only a work of art that can be collected and appreciated, but also a magical instrument to assist practitioners in their advancement.
