Product Description
This Green Tara statue was meticulously handcrafted by artists working with Lunzi Art. The entire statue is cast in fine copper and plated with 24K gold. The statue was cast using the ancient lost wax casting method, and then the intricate patterns were hand-carved and polished.
Green Tara is shown in a stretched posture with her right leg slightly extended, her right hand resting on her knee, her left hand raised to her chest, gracefully holding a blooming blue lotus (utpala) near her shoulder. She wears an elaborately embellished garment that drapes naturally and is engraved with auspicious symbols, floral motifs and sacred Buddhist symbols. Her attire includes an ornate five-leaf crown, earrings, necklace, bracelets and anklets, all of which are carefully crafted to reflect her divine status.
Green Tara has a serene and compassionate face. She sits on a finely carved double lotus throne, symbolizing the purity beyond the world. The base of the throne is decorated with layers of lotus petals and exquisite floral patterns.
This statue is not only a beautiful collectible artwork, but also a Dharma instrument to help practitioners advance.
