Product Description

This statue of Aparmita also known as Amitayus or Tsepame, crafted by artists working with Wheel Art. He is considered a manifestation of Amitabha Buddha, specifically focused on extending lifespan and purifying negative karma. The entire statue is cast in copper and plated with 24K gold. The statue was cast using the ancient lost wax casting method, and then the intricate patterns were hand-carved and polished.

The statue's facial expression is serene and compassionate, with downcast eyes, symbolizing a state of deep meditation and wisdom. The right hand resting on top of his left, palms facing upwards. This mudra symbolizes concentration and meditation. the unique and crucial element here is the long-life vase (Tsebum) he holds in his hands.  The left hand of the statue is resting in his lap. Aparmita wears a crown inlaid with various gems and jades. The vase is filled with the nectar of immortality (amrita), which is the source of his power to grant long life.

The statue sits on a double lotus throne (vishva-vajra) represents both spiritual purity and the deity's enlightened.
