Copper Half Gold Plated Shakyamuni Buddha

This statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is made by skilled craftsmen working with Lunzi Art. The entire statue is crafted from a copper, oxidized and plated with 24K gold using the ancient lost wax casting method, and then the intricate patterns were hand-carved and polished.

This statue’s face exhibits a serene, calm, and compassionate expression, with downcast eyes suggesting deep meditation. This statue’s hair is depicted culminating in a prominent topknot (ushnisha). Buddha's right hand reaches down to touch the earth which is in Bhumisparsha Mudra gesture which represents the moment of the Buddha's enlightenment. It’s left-hand rests in his lap in the dhyana mudra holding an alms bowl which signifies deep meditation.

The statue wears a flowing robe with intricate patterns with no elaborate jewellery and a distinct reddish-brown color on the draped fabric. The statue is seated on an ornate lotus base in a meditative posture, representing spiritual purity and awakening.
