Product Description
This statue of Guru Rinpoche was handcrafted by skilled craftsmen working with Lunzi Art. The statue is cast in a fine copper using the traditional lost wax method, then carefully hand-carved with intricate patterns, polished to a dazzling shine, and then finished with a meticulous mercury gold plating (also known as fire gilding), a traditional process.
The face of the Guru Rinpoche statue is intricately detailed and beautifully decorated. The statue holds an intricately carved vajra (thunder god) in his right hand and an intricately decorated bell in his left hand. The ears are decorated with delicate floral decorations and the necklace is made of intricately carved beads. The clothing of this statue is exquisitely detailed, with intricate patterns and flowing folds, showing an extraordinary level of craftsmanship.
Guru Rinpoche sits on a blooming lotus throne in a serene yet dynamic posture, with one leg crossed and the other slightly extended, deep in meditation.
This statue is not only a work of art that can be collected and appreciated, but also a magical instrument to assist practitioners in their advancement.
