Product Description

The thangka features a circular mandala pattern on a black background, with intricate patterns painted in gold. In the center is a lotus with the Tibetan word "Om" (ཨོཾ) written in the center, surrounded by the Tibetan mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum". This mantra is repeated in multiple concentric rings radiating outwards, and the outermost edge of each ring is decorated with delicate decorative elements such as small cloud-like patterns. The black background contrasts with the gold lettering and patterns, emphasizing the sacred and meditative quality of the artwork.

"Om" represents the sound of the universe, representing the impure body, speech, and mind of the practitioner; "Mani" is "gem", symbolizing the altruistic will to gain enlightenment; "Papai" is "lotus", representing wisdom; "Hum" represents indivisibility, representing the combination of wisdom and compassion. In general, this mantra is usually interpreted as "gem in lotus", symbolizing the qualities of compassion, wisdom, and enlightenment. It is believed that chanting or meditating on this mantra can purify negative karma, bring peace, and help practitioners cultivate compassion.

This thangka work is not only a work of art worth collecting, but also a ritual tool to assist practitioners in their advancement.

Each color in this painting embodies the strength of natural minerals, radiating depth and spiritual resonance.

Natural Colors in Thangka

All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.
